Foxmarks: Sending us your Log File

If we ask you send us your log file to help us diagnose a problem, here's what you do:

  • Locate your log file. It's called foxmarks.log. It's kept in your Firefox profile directory. Windows users can typically find their profile here:

c:\windows\documents and settings\username\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\junk.default\

(Note that username and junk will vary for each user and system.)

Macintosh users can typically find their log file by using spotlight to search for foxmarks.log.

  • Email us your foxmarks.log file as an attachment. (Note that if you cut & paste the file contents into the email instead of attaching it, it may be rejected as spam.)
